The house is ideally situated for those who enjoy walking, with easy access onto the Grand Western Canal towpath leading to Tiverton; the outstanding beauty of Exmoor forest, the north Devon coastline and the historic and cultural attractions of the city of Exeter are just a short drive away together with a number of historic houses and gardens both in this part of Devon and over the border in Somerset.

Directions by car:
From junction 27 of the M5 exit onto the A361 heading towards Tiverton. After a few hundred yards take the first slip road off, signed Sampford Peverell and Tiverton Parkway Station. At the top of the slip road turn right signed Holcombe Rogus and Westleigh. At the next mini roundabout go straight over following the signs for Westleigh. After 1¼ miles turn right at the cream house signed Westleigh and Rocknell Manor Farm is approximately ¼ mile on right (the second dwelling on the right, the first house is The Linhays).
We do not recommend you come via the A38 unless you are familiar with the approach roads.
The nearest train station is Tiverton Parkway (fast trains 2hrs from London Paddington) which is 5 minutes from the house. We can usually collect you for a small charge of £5 each way.
